The movie, titled Fushigi no Kuni de Alice to: Dive in Wonderland, will debut in theaters across Japan on August 29.

The story introduces Rise, a modern-day girl who unexpectedly finds herself in Wonderland. Her chance encounter with Alice sets off an enchanting adventure filled with mystery and wonder.

Maika Pugh, known for her role as Platelet in the Hataraku Saibou (Cells at Work!) live-action movie, is voicing Alice.

Toshiya Shinohara (Kuroshitsuji, Nagi no Asu kara) is directing the movie at P.A. Works. Yuuko Kakihara (Tsuki ga Kirei, Shiroi Suna no Aquatope) is penning the script. Shochiku and television station TBS are credited for production.
