The February 2025 issue of Manga Time Original announced on Thursday that Cool-kyou Shinja’s Komori-san wa Kotowarenai! (Komori-san Can’t Decline!) manga will end in four chapters. The May 2025 issue will conclude the manga’s nearly 13-year-run.
Cool-kyou Shinja began drawing the comedy slice of life manga in Manga Time Original in the April 2012 issue in February 2012. Houbunsha published the 12th volume on May 7.
A television anime adaptation by animation studio Artland aired in 12 episodes in Fall 2015. Crunchyroll simulcast the anime with subtitles.
Synopsis
Shuri Komori, a kind-hearted 14-year-old middle schooler, has one defining trait—she can never say “no” when someone asks for help. From her classmates to random acquaintances, she’s constantly bombarded with requests, and her willingness to assist turns her everyday life into a whirlwind of errands.
Alongside her best friends, Megumi and Masako, and her classmate Otani, Shuri navigates these seemingly ordinary yet oddly chaotic days. Little does she know, her endless acts of kindness are quietly developing an extraordinary talent that may change her life.
