Manga ‘Dekin no Mogura’ Gets TV Anime in Summer 2025

Production company Avex Pictures opened an official website for a television anime adaptation of Natsumi Eguchi’s Dekin no Mogura manga on Monday, revealing the main cast, staff, teaser visual (pictured), and a teaser promotional video. The anime is scheduled to premiere in July 2025.

Yuuichi Nakamura (Jujutsu Kaisen, JoJo no Kimyou na Bouken Part 5: Ougon no Kaze) is starring as the protagonist Momoyuki Mogura.

Eguchi (Hoozuki no Reitetsu) began serializing the mystery comedy manga in Morning magazine in April 2021. Kodansha published the seventh volume on June 21, with the eighth volume going on sale on Thursday.

Synopsis
Mogura, a mysterious “self-proclaimed sage” also known as Hyakuan Momoyumi, has been banned from the afterlife. To return, he roams the world, collecting the “lamps” of ghosts in his lantern.

However, crossing paths with him brings an unusual consequence: the ability to see strange phenomena…
