Orange, Qubic Pictures Produce ‘Leviathan’ Anime for 2025

Netflix Japan announced on Friday that animation studio Orange and Qubic Pictures are producing an anime adaptation based on Scott Westerfeld’s Leviathan novel. The company also revealed the main staff and a key visual (pictured above). The anime is scheduled to be released worldwide on Netflix in 2025.

Westerfeld published Leviathan with illustrations by Keith Thompson in 2009, which is the first part of a trilogy. The sequels, Behemoth and Goliath, were released in 2010 and 2011, respectively.

Synopsis
