‘Summertime Render’ Creator Begins New Manga

Summertime Render manga author Yasuki Tanaka began a new manga in Shounen Jump+ on Friday. Titled Ghost Fixers, the first chapter debuted with 85 pages. Shueisha’s Manga Plus platform simultaneously published the first chapter in English.

Synopsis
Following a certain event, Mikurigaoka New Town transformed into a crucible of supernatural phenomena known as GHOSTS! In said town lives Hifumi, a middle school boy, who one day encounters a girl who just moved in… (Source: Manga Plus)

Based on Tanaka’s 2008 one-shot Jamais Vu, Summertime Render ran in Shounen Jump+ from October 2017 to February 2021. Shueisha shipped the 13th and final volume in April 2021.

Udon Entertainment licensed the manga in English and released it in a six-volume paperback omnibus. The final two volumes shipped in September 2022.

OLM produced a 25-episode television anime in Spring 2022. The anime was streamed with subtitles and dubbed in multiple languages on Disney+ and Hulu.
